Constructed using a specialised mesh featuring a black internal thread with a PVC coating and tighter weave, the Solar Veil provides exceptional UV protection without compromising your horse’s vision. The advanced mesh reduces glare and offers greater sun protection than conventional fly masks.

An EVA solar gusset sewn above the eye line blocks direct heat and sunlight from the forehead while maintaining full peripheral and rear vision. The mask’s unique structure, inspired by materials used in sailmaking, keeps the mesh elevated and well away from the eyes, ensuring excellent airflow, clarity of vision, and all-day comfort.

The fine, breathable polyester ears are soft yet durable, offering protection without irritation. The ergonomically designed nose flap arches slightly once fitted, minimising rubbing while still delivering up to 95% UV protection from harmful sun and heat.

Featuring a first-of-its-kind Quick Release Clip System, the Solar Veil includes two adjustable straps (over the poll and under the throat) plus a Velcro chin strap. This provides a secure, customisable fit while helping prevent mask removal. For added peace of mind, the clips are break-away for safety.

Reinforced Velcro attachments with heavy-duty binding reduce tearing and extend the life of the mask, even in demanding conditions.
