Popular for dressage, these stainless steel spurs have a 35mm shank fitted with a disc rowel. 

Rowelled spurs are said to be more effective as an aid than a blunt spur since the rider will almost certainly use it with more care. The disc is designed to roll along the horse's side and offer gentle encouragement.
