The schooling bit helps to introduce a horse gently to un-jointed bits. The unique bar design offers room for the tongue and adapts perfectly to the horse‘s mouth. The curved endings of the mouthpiece embrace the flews (fleshy part of the corner of the mouth) and give an extremely steady fit in combination with the eggbutt rings. The schooling bit has a very direct action and introduces the horse for future use of Weymouths.
