With heavy use in the elements, your oilskin coat will eventually need to be reproofed to maintain it's waterproof qualities. This 500ml tin contains Paraffin, Micro wax, Slack wax, Drying oil and solvent, all of which will keep your favourite coat in great working condition.

Though Oilskin garments were originally made from sailcloth, they have become part of Australian culture, synonymous with Australian stockmen and cattle drovers. Oilskin garments can last for a lifetime if you look after them properly. With wear over time, the oil and wax on the Oilskin fabric will naturally dry out. We recommend regular monthly checks for dryness so that it can be treated with a reproofer to promote longevity of your garment.
